30 hours per fortnight, 12 month fixed-term contract
Working closely with Q’s Technical Manger and Production Coordinator, your role is to ensure the performing spaces, technical equipment, and staff are ready for the incoming companies and hirers to our building.
You will have a passion for performing arts and experience in an entertainment, events, & conference environment with a proven understanding of the operation of staging, lighting, sound, and projection equipment. A working knowledge of Q Theatre performance spaces would be an advantage. Excellent communications skills, both written and spoken, along with problem solving, self-motivation, attention to details, and a desire to deliver outcomes are necessary.
Q Theatre, Café & Bar, in the heart of the CBD, is home to Auckland’s independent performing arts scene. With 3 flexible performing spaces, we are always busy, so there will be opportunities for additional hours when hirers are in the building.
Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ Work visa.
