Production Coordinator – Q Theatre

Working closely with Q’s other Production coordinator, Technical Manager and  Programme Director, your role is to produce a high-quality experience for incoming companies and hirers through the provision of the technical services. This includes event costings, room setups, rostering of technicians and allocation of, sound, lighting and AV equipment, all to be delivered by Q Theatre’s technicians in an efficient and cost-effective way.

You will need at least 5 years’ experience in entertainment or events production with an excellent understanding of staging, lighting, sound and AV gathered from a variety of performance and/or events, as no two hires are ever the same at Q Theatre. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, along with problem solving, self-motivation and a desire to deliver outcomes are also necessary.

Q Theatre, Café & Bar in the heart of the CBD is Auckland’s home of independent performing arts.  With four flexible performing spaces, we are always busy, so a willingness to pitch in and help when required is necessary.
