The Technical Services team is the brains, hands and feet of individual event setup and dismantling at Hamilton’s premier event spaces, looking after the sound, lighting, audio-visual, rigging and much more to ensure our clients’ events run safely and smoothly for everyone to enjoy, and the spaces they are held in are world-class.
A new position has been created for an experienced Lead Technician who will act as a Team Leader to a crew of dedicated Event Technicians.
As a proven leader, you will provide support and guidance for the team focusing on event delivery, Health & Safety and further improving operational efficiencies within a dedicated and successful team.
You will get your hands dirty with the crew so you must be able to work effectively in a team environment, while exhibiting resourcefulness, creativity and a logical approach to problem solving technical and operational challenges.
Your initiative, self-motivation and energy will see you hit the ground running in this challenging and demanding role.Your ability to adapt to will be key to your success.
This is a full-time position based at Claudelands Event Centre, Hamilton. We are delivering Sport, Performance,Conferences and Exhibition events across our suite of venues including FMG Stadium Waikato and Seddon Park Stadium.
As events often happen outside normal office hours, you will need to be prepared to work some evenings and weekends.
The recruiting salary for this role starts at $58,200 per annum, and could be negotiated for the right candidate.
