Audio Visual People are a Taupo based company specialising in Audio Visual services. We are an industry leading supplier of Audio, Broadcast, Lighting and LED equipment. Over the past 20 years, Peter Clapperton has grown the company substantially allowing it to cater to a wide range of events, with a specialisation in Sporting, Live to Air Broadcast and Live Music Events.
We are currently seeking a hard-working individual to join our technical team and become a part of the family styled business we currently uphold.
The successful candidate will have an excellent work ethic, ability to adapt to changing situations and be eager to learn in the field.
The ideal candidate will:
Have basic audio experience.
Have knowledge in operating and setting up audio systems for corporate, dry hire and public address systems.
Have previous experience in video systems. (SDI, Fibre, Vision Switchers, Cameras and LED walls)
Ideally have 2+ years’ experience in other similar roles.
Have a friendly, approachable manner and is not afraid to work on events alone.
Be able to adapt to changing situations whilst mitigating and problem-solving issues which may arise.
At least have a moderate level of fitness/strength as your role will involve the handling of heavy equipment.
Able to work long hours and often weekends.
Have capability with:
- Livestream Studio
Ideally have capability with:
- JBL performance manager
- L’Acoustics LA Manager
- Capture Sweden
We are a growing business so the ability to be flexible with changing hours is necessary. The successful candidate will also need to try to contribute positively to the work culture, event organisation and team planning.
You must have a current NZ Citizenship or Residency and a full licence. The ability to drive a manual is an ideal attribute we are looking for, as well as a Class 2 and/or 4 licence.
