Standards New Zealand has published the latest revision of AS/NZS 1891.4:2009 industrail fall-arrest systems - Selection use and maintenance. The objective of this Standard is to specify the requirements and set out recommednations for the selection, safe use, and maintenance of industrail fall-arrest systems and devices, and associated lanyards, connectors, anchorages, and fittings.
AS/NZS 1891.4.2009 covers selection requiremetns and recommendations for determining the ytpes of components of the system that would be appropriate to the envisaged use. The Standard also includes sage use requirements and recommendations relating to safe pratices to be followed in the use of components and assemblies.
