Desks.

I've been demo-ing several desks looking for what's right for my venue.
It seems that the desk manufacturers are all aiming there desks at the high end, moving lights market.
We use intels maybe twice a year. The rest of the time it's concerts and one nighters and lot's of shows run on subs. When we do something more complicated, the desk op. is often an enthusiastic schoolkid or local amateur user.
I need a desk which hides it's complexity behind a veneer of simplicity.
What do you need a desk to do?
