SHOULD THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY BE TAKING HEED OF SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY AND FASHIONS, DOES GLOBAL WARMING HAVE AN IMPACT?

Phil Conroy presented a theatre in design and the energy savings that can be incorporated; Robbie Barclay pointed out that no matter how much we wish to save it is inevitable that our industry will use energy; Marc Ellis showed us how simple recycling around the venue can save considerably; Chris MacKenzie presented savings being brought about by the lighting industry. All in all each speaker a perspective worthy of a session on it own. Outcome was that the industry as a whole is cognisant of energy savings and sustainability but not at the expense of producing good entertainment.
